Hi everybody,
I want to graduate from an US university with a MS program in risk management. Academic year would be 22/23. Since I already hold a bachelor in business administration and a master in management, I think that are more specific degree will increase my career development.
Actually I'd like to apply for the MSRM program at Columbia. However, this university is beyond my budget. Therefore, I looked at the RM program at Boston University. I know that you cannot compare these institutions since one of them is ivy league but what are your thoughts on BU. Is it worth it? I'd like to switch to a strategic consultancy such as BCG, McK, Oliver Wyman etc. Perhaps you guys have some beneficial recommendations.
My profile:
23 years
Bachelor's degree from a cooperative university in Germany (grade: 2.0 / GPA 3.0)
Master's degree from a private university of applied sciences in Germany (current grade: 1.3 - 1.7 / GPA 3.7 - 3.3) probably finished 03/22
Professional experiences: Cooperative Program of Work & Study (3.5 years) at a major infrastructure group (global fortune 500); (Junior) Inhouse Consultant (1.5 years) at the same company
Several extra-curricular activites and an internship in South America for three months
Thanks!
