CGPA - 7.57/10 in Mechanical Engineering in LNMIIT(B-Tier institute in India)
9-month work ex - Manager-Operations in a Mask Manufacturing company. My work includes managing raw materials, production, labour management and Quality check.
1 Month International Internship as Automation engineer at Arcelor Mittal, Kazakhstan.
another technical internship as Mechanical engineer at an Ultratech Cement in India
one and half month social media content writing internship for NGO.
Lots of extra-curricular and roles of reponsibility throughout graduation
I have managed fests in my initial 2 yrs. I was project head in thrid year at my institute of an international student chapter.
I have been a Lawn tennis team captain at my college.
I am looking to apply for the MAM program in LBS or MiM in Imperial. please tell my chances.
Please tell which top colleges can get into for courses MiM or MSBA. Can there be the advantage of my quant score?

Hey utkarsh025!
I would like to start off by saying that you have a pretty decent profile.
Commencing your profile evaluation with your academics, I would say that you have a pretty decent academic background. Your GPA of 7.57 is quite strong and would allow you to target most of the top schools in the UK.
Further on the note of GRE, even though you have an impressive quant score, your overall score does fall on the shorter end especially when contrasted with the academic standards of the schools you wish to target. Hence, I would recommend you to go for a retake and score at least 320+ in your next attempt.
Moving on to your work experience, you have 9 months of work experience in a managerial position which definitely embellishes your profile with quality work experience. However, even though you do have relevant experience, there is one major factor that is missing throughout your profile and it is the lack of huge brand names. Considering the fact that you’d be competing with applicants from the top schools and big4 companies, talking about the kind of projects you have undertaken, the impact you created and your career progression with major learning takeaways would definitely showcase the quality of your work and establish you as no less than a big4 candidate.
Apart from your work experience, it is great to note that you have undertaken a month-long international internship as well, which adds in the dimension of international exposure to your profile and sets you apart from the competition. International exposure is a great way to display your global outlook and capability to excel in a foreign environment.
Further on the note of extracurriculars, schools tend to favour candidates with a diverse range of extracurricular activities as it showcases the holistic growth of a candidate. Accounting for the same, your experience with managing fests showcases your leadership skills, while your tenure as the project head in the college student chapter vouches for your academic calibre and excellent communication skills. Furthermore, your internship with an NGO goes on to highlight your community involvement by displaying your calibre to utilize your skills to bring forth a positive impact on society. All in all, I would say that you have a pretty holistically developed profile. However, if you wish to further build on the same and add in a dimension of business and management to your profile, then I’d suggest you take up some certifications in the field of business analytics such as Python and R to showcase your passion for the domain.
Given your school choices, LBS falls under the dream category which means that it has an acceptance rate of 8-12% and therefore your chances of acceptance into the program would be around 50%. Imperial on other hand falls under the competitive category and hence your chances of acceptance in the school would be 60-70%.
Some other schools that you can target based on your profile are:
MSBA- Warwick, Cass, Lancaster, Alliance Manchester
MIM- LSE, Cass, Durham, Alliance Manchester, Kings and Warwick.
