I’ve recently got accepted at the National University of Singapore in MSc Finance. Although NUS is a great brand, it’s MSc Finance is a new program. I’m a bit reluctant to sign up because it’s a $60,000 worth of investment and I’m not sure how good their finance program is since information about it is sparse on the internet. Please guide me, if you can. Would really appreciate!
P.S. I’m supposed to make a decision by the next week, hence the urgency.

Firstly, Congratulations on admit.
Secondly, NUS is itself a great brand name. It stood 11th rank in world University ranking, so is it's renowneness among employers. The only thing I am not sure of its popularity in American or European nations. But there is no such thing that you can't find job in those countries. So NUS is definitely worth a shot, even if it's offering a new master program.

Thanks so much for your take. I won’t mind working in Singapore after graduating from NUS. I hope Asian companies would recognise the NUS brand quite happily, and I’ve been told so too. Having said that, the lesser recognition it enjoys globally is a bit concerning for me.
