Firstly, Congratulations on admit.
Secondly, NUS is itself a great brand name. It stood 11th rank in world University ranking, so is it's renowneness among employers. The only thing I am not sure of its popularity in American or European nations. But there is no such thing that you can't find job in those countries. So NUS is definitely worth a shot, even if it's offering a new master program.

Thanks so much for your take. I won’t mind working in Singapore after graduating from NUS. I hope Asian companies would recognise the NUS brand quite happily, and I’ve been told so too. Having said that, the lesser recognition it enjoys globally is a bit concerning for me.
Well, if you really want to work in other places, then targeting college in same location could be advantageous. But as I said, NUS is definitely not something to be trade for another year. NUS does have its own image and reputation. Other than that, finding a job is 80% individual's own effort. I am sure the degree worthiness will not stop you to score your dream career.
