Hi everyone. Hope you all are doing fine.
I'm Anuraag from India. I'm currently in the final year of my bachelor studies. Planning to apply for a masters in Business Analytics, primarily looking for admissions in European Business Schools.
Profile
1. Background and Nationality - I'm from India. I will be 22 years old during the time of application. I have completed my education until class 12 in state board. I'm pursuing a Bachelors in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from NMIMS University, Mumbai. My current GPA after finishing second year is 3.5 out of 4. I'm in the top 15% of the batch.
2. GMAT - Targeting a score ranging from 670 to 710. Will be giving the exam in June 2021.
3. Work Ex. and Leadership - I have 3 months of professional work experience. I have worked at KPMG India as a Data Analyst Intern. I have worked for an NGO for 6 months and continuing. Led teams in Inter College business plan competitions and case study competitions and won a few of them. Part of the CSR Club and Entrepreneurship Club at College.
4. Post Masters - I would like to work in a Consulting firm including boutique companies in the field of data collation and analysis. I'm also open to working at a tech or consumer goods company where data driven decisions are taken.
I'm currently having 2 good quality recommendations - one from the statistics and analytics chairperson at my University and other from my Senior at KPMG (Senior Director for Technology).
I'm primarily targeting Warwick, ESADE, ESCP and RSM.
Please evaluate my chances of admission in the above mentioned b-schools and open to your suggestions to improve my profile. I personally feel that my education in a state board up until class 12 might be a negative point in my profile and which is decreasing my overall confidence.

- Please list out your consulting background/experience in more detail. The KPMG internship helps, but beyond that, we need to see other evidence that you would be a strong fit with a master's program in analytics. Yes, as an MS program, it might not be as demanding in requiring fit as say an MBA program, but this fit must still be well established, at least for the higher-ranked programs.
- Try and get a score of 700+. Not only will this be an asset to show stronger analytical ability to analytics programs (and they absolutely care a lot about your quant score), but it will also help you later when recruiting with consulting firms.
- Your school education is not an issue at all here. Your college performance and the courses you took count for a lot. So do your post-Master's goals, and you should spend a bit more thought in shaping these up.
- Also look at programs at ESSEC, HEC, and NUS. They are considered excellent options as well.
