Hi everyone,
I am a third-year BA Economics (with Finance modules) student at a top UK university (top 6-7) originally from France and I am currently applying to the Masters in Finance of ESSEC, ESCP and Paris-Dauphine. My average for both first and second years are +70% (i.e. First-class honours) and I had the opportunity to take part to a summer internship last year in an Accounting and Audit cabinet in Paris.
I also have an association background with a position held in the committee of the Fintech association of my university.
I took the GMAT yesterday because it is required for both ESSEC and ESCP and I scored in the 50th percentile for both Verbal and Integrated Reasoning. However, the Quant section (the one I was the best at) went horribly wrong and I don't know how but I scored a 32 (15th percentile)... Giving an outrageous overall score of 510.
The hosts of the events I attended for MiF of ESSEC and ESCP testified and said that the GMAT is far from being the only factor in the application and that even with a low score you could get in. However, I don't have time to take the GMAT again and considering how low this score is, I wonder what my chances are now.
I will not communicate the score to Dauphine btw (it is not required).
If you guys could tell me what you think my chances are now, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks a lot
