Hi Everybody, I hope some of you might help me by giving some hints on my question:
Background:
- 21 year student at a non target uni in Italy with GPA of 27/30 (I think this as a weakness for my Bocconi application)
- GMAT (Focus/New version): 655 --> 91st percentile overall, 90th for Bocconi Masters
- Previous internship in a local bank, hope to gain another internship by the start of the Master
- Extracurriculars: Part of the Junior Enterprise of my Uni with a role of Manager in the Sales Team, selected among the first 50 Italian EY Campus Ambassadors. Other activities centered on events for students.
How likely am I to be accepted to Bocconi MFin? Also is my profile competitive for St. Gallen/SSE/what else?
Thank you in advance
Hi
unluckybax,
Given your strong academic record, GMAT score, and extracurriculars, you have a competitive profile for top MFin programs like Bocconi, St. Gallen, and SSE.
Your GPA of 27/30 is commendable, especially considering you're at a non-target university. Your GMAT score of 655 (91st percentile overall, 90th for Bocconi) is highly competitive and demonstrates your strong quantitative and verbal abilities. Your involvement in the Junior Enterprise and selection as an EY Campus Ambassador showcase your leadership, teamwork, and professional development. Your previous internship in a local bank is a valuable addition to your profile.
Given the competitive nature of top MFin programs, consider applying to several schools to increase your chances of admission. Customize your application materials to highlight your strengths and align with the specific requirements and values of each program.
