ESADE with CEMS gives you a dual credential and a network spanning 35+ schools across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. That portability matters more than most people realize when you're building a career in emerging markets or social impact.
IE has strong corporate placement in consulting and finance, but ESADE+CEMS is the better fit for someone building in the agriculture/social enterprise space. The CEMS curriculum includes a social impact project, and you'll meet cohort members doing similar work in markets like Brazil, India, and Kenya. That peer group could be worth more than any elective.
Do check if your ESADE offer includes automatic CEMS admission, or is there a separate application? Some schools admit to the MiM first, then you compete internally for CEMS spots. If it's guaranteed, that tilts the scales even further.
Barcelona also has a surprisingly active agtech and impact investing ecosystem. Madrid skews more traditional corporate.
