Hi everyone,
First of all, I am sorry if I am posting this in the wrong forum.
I am currently planning to give the GMAT on June 25. I pursued my undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University, and I am currently pursuing my Masters in Information Systems at Eastern Michigan.
I have completed my two semesters. Since I am giving my GMAT on June 25, I guess it is hard to get admitted for the FALL 2010 Semester. I am aiming for top ranked schools for IS, like Carnegie Mellon or U of M, somewhere in that level of competency.
I have several questions:
1. What score should I be aiming for? I have set myself a goal of 720.
2. So say, I go through for a double masters. Does that sound like a good idea to do a double masters in a related field?
3. For getting financial assistance from any of these top notch universities, I know an important part is essays, statement of purpose and building relationships with professors. Are there any other recommended steps?
Thank you.
I would also like to read any similar experiences, if you guys have any.
