As I just came across a few students mentioning that they have received some scholarships from the Universities that they have applied for MFE or MfFin courses. I just wanted to know, which universities are more likely to provide such scholarship as I am quite sure of my unlikeliness to bear the full fees.
My Profile (if that be of any help) is :
B.Tech Computer Science - Panjab University - 68%
2 years work-ex Amdocs
MBA Finance - DMS, IIT Delhi - 7.8/10 CGPA (I dont know how does that translates to the US standards)
Sitting for CFA Level I this december.
GMAT expected score - 760+ (min 740), Probably looking for programs with 1 year course than 2 years.
Now employed in a Consulting company - which is not in the financial sector.
Please provide your comments and info that you can.

Generally, the only way second-tier programs give out so much tuition reduction is to attract students who otherwise will never pay that much money.
Same goes to CMU as it's one of the most expensive programs.

Many graduate programs offer fellowships which reduce or eliminate tuition. I do not see the logic in saying that 2nd tier schools reduce tuition by admitting less than stellar candidates. Many schools reduce tuition for certain students as a way to attract especially qualified students.
