My friend gave the GRE today.....he wants to know which US colleges he should apply to for MS in computer science......his profile is as below:
GRE: 317(162Q,155V)=>approx 1300 in the old format
CGPA: 2.75
graduated in computer science in June, 2007 from a tier 1 engineering college in India
Presented a paper in an IEEE conference(paper will be available in IEEE explore soon)
work ex:4 months, accenture (he is considering not mentioning this at all).
What are the chances,if any, for being accepted in a good college? He is applying to university of south california, boston university, virginia tech, case western reserve univ etc....

Case Western seems to be the best bet from among these. Honestly, USC will be difficult to get into - they focus a lot on GPA and GRE scores and a 2.75 will be below par for them.

My name is Tofayel. I am a young Bangladeshi.
