Guys,
Yesterday I gave first test from manhattan and scored 670 with q47 and v 34. I am happy to see the progress in quant but shocked to note verbal score of 34, which is even below my last gmat score of 38 and even gmat prep score of 37. Even Q score should have been higher considering the fact that i was sitting in office and had to pause in between as customer and colleagues visited forcing me to make silly mistakes.
I would appreciate your comments on verbal score of manhattan. How good is it in reflecting actual gmat?

Hi Manjeet,
Remember that practice test scores can really vary a lot. It's not necessary an issue with the practice test itself, it's just impossible to perfectly replicate actual GMAT conditions when you are taking a practice test (as you learned first hand with all of the office interruptions!)
That is obviously somewhat anecdotal, but I can say is that when my students do their best to make sure their practice tests are as realistic as possible (taking the test in a quiet environment with no pauses and no interruptions) and then take the real test a few days later, their
Manhattan GMAT practice test scores tend to be very good predictors (usually within a point or two on the raw scores).
But at the end of the day, you'll be most effectively preparing if you
don't worry about practice tests as score predictors. Rather, focus on learning what you can from the practice test experience and thinking about how to apply that to a real test. For example, were there any timing issues? Are there any particular problem types that still give you trouble? Any content areas you need to work on? The biggest advantage of the
Manhattan GMAT practice tests are the comprehensive analytical tools we have for analyzing your practice test.
In summary, don't worry about whether the score is perfectly accurate. Focus on what you can do to continue improving!
Best,
Mark
