Hi Experts,
I gave my GMAT on Monday 8th Oct 12 and got a score of 690 (Q48, V35).
I have prepared actively for around 2 months and gave the exam. In GMAT PREP1 which I took at the start of my prep I got 620(very low verbal). Sentence correction was my weakest area along with few DS mistakes.
I prepared hard for the whole of Sep with Manhattan SC and OG 13. I gave my second GMAT prep one week before the exam with essays and IR section and scored 710 (Q48,V40)
And in the last week just revised the
MGMAT strategy guides and practiced 1000 SC questions( could complete only 300).
During the test when I reached verbal I felt I was too slow on the SC questions, CR seemed hard which wasn't the case with prep tests and RC got the steam out of me. I was not able to concentrate on one of the RC passages and got a little panicked and guessed randomly on few questions after that. Completed the verbal section and got the score of 690.
My questions are:-
1) Is there a way I can improve my score from 690 to 750.
2) How to do it, which books or questions, practice tests should I do. I have only one more month to take the tests again and meet the round 2 deadlines.
I considered RC and CR my strong areas but during the test I was struggling so I would request the experts to guide me please.
Thanks,
Raghav
