Which B-school(top 20) interview calls I can expect with 720 score in GMAT and 2years of work-ex as a business analyst(10th,12th and Undergrad - all above 80%)

Perfect Reply !!

It is a big problem with some applicants, especially Indian, who just use 3 parameters.

1. Top 20 B schools -> why not top 20 for our aspirations?
2. Gmat -> if our gmat is near or above school avg, then score 20-30 more won't let us in. Our essays should show our fit.
3. GPA and school %age -> %age of school does not count but GPA does. GPA is not a deciding criteria.

The most important criteria is FIT. If they feel you are fit, they will let you in. Else even score 800 and 4 gpa wont help.
Applicants should see people with 780+ and that too of non Indians are dinged. So how can an Indian with similar profile expect to get answer with 720 gmat? I really wonder and want to make my fellow Indians aware of this simple fact.

Dont be part of Rat race, but rather prepare well to reach what you want in life !!
