hi guys, i have been preparing for gmat for more than a year now. i was more than confident that i would not get a poor score if not a good one. today i sat for my very first gmat prep test and i scored 500 
. 39 in the quant and 20 in the verbal . in the verbal i answered 40, ran out of time. im good at sc , but im really having trouble with the rc part. im trying to take summaries of the paragraphs of the rc but its taking me at lest 5 minutes just to take the summaries. i only have 20 days left for the actual gmat test. is there anything for me that i can be optimistic about?

manhattan gmat five strategy guides for the quant, gmat club math book. manhattan sentnce correction for the sc part, cr bible by power score fr the cr part and for rc im nt sure wat to follow though ive followed mgmat rc book and several posts from gmat club. for the very 1st time i was convinced by one of your posts that i might have a chance for the rc part. i like that strategy but its taking me really long just to take the summeries of the paragraphs. and im really having trouble wid the time management isue. i dnt knw wen to let go. if i take the whole time to do 28/30 quesns and if i can correct 24/25 of them and then i choose randomly for the next remaining quesns, wud that b a good idea? 600 wud make me more than happy in the circumstance .
