Hi Experts,
I gave my first mock and scored 560 with Q44 and V28. I am not too worried about quant since i know i made some silly mistakes and few of the concept just vanished from my head. I think i can get V47-48 with some more practice and memorization of concept.
Big piece is verbal as always. Lucky for me is that I am weak in SC (which is a good thing i my opinion) because i always make mistake in picking the correct answer. I think my problem is that i do not remember many of the concepts while take these questions and always mix up.
My scoring rate for SC is 40% and i want to bring it to 75-80%. I have accepted that we will make mistakes in choosing the wrong answers in a timed test but idea is to make less mistake.
Please could you guys help in providing some suggestions to improve in SC?

Hi Pradeepss,
Cool avatar! I recommend that you focus on the most important decision points in sentence correction, and use these decision points in order to eliminate incorrect answers. Sentence correction is all about the process of elimination, instead of picking whatever answer "looks good." I think that you are most likely looking for the correct answer, when you should in fact be looking for 4 incorrect answers.
Veritas Prep is great at teaching sentence correction errors and strategy. It is much more of a game than most test takers realize (and much less actual grammer knowledge is required than many realize).
