Hi, I'm new to the gmatclub and I had a general question. Forgive me if the issue has already been addressed.
I've recently started the MGMAT guide series and although it is wonderful and I'm learning a lot--I'm tackling geometry and sentence correction right now--how do you retain all of it?
I have an error log and am writing notes and doing all the practice questions in the books and those they refer to in GmatPrep, but I feel like if I even take a day without looking over the material, I'll forget it all. This process is also slowing me down i.e. attempting to review things done the previous day.
Any advice for someone without superhuman memory?

The concepts and the theory will sink in with practice. Also reviewing notes weekly is a good idea and it takes only 10-15 mins to do so.

One interesting thing I would like to share about me here.
During my initial days of learning, it was getting very difficult for me to remember the weird math formulas. Even after reviewing those every alternate day, I used to forget them in next couple of days. To overcome this problem, while solving any math question, I started writing down required formula before solving that question. After practicing for about 3-4 weeks, with this method, this trick started working for me and I realized that I am gradually getting strong hold over math formulas.
Later I applied this trick in verbal section too. e.g. Upon seeing any CR weaken the argument question, before even seeing the paragraph I used to read my short-notes made for weaken type question.
Of course It is important to note that this can not be done when you are solving questions in timed mode. It is also true that this method may not work for everyone. The best way is to discover unique methods which suit you best.
