Hello everyone! My name is Zhasmina, 23 from Bulgaria.
In November 2013 I graduate in my home country and now I`m plannig to apply for a Master Degree in Germany, but I need the GMAT to enter the University. I started studying about the exam in December and in 20th of February I took my first GMAT.You may ask about my score - welll 440, 24Q 25V - pretty bad :( I was very disapointed because I really tried very hard. In the test day I was so nervous I even couldn't focus on the exam :(
However, I don`t give up. I need 550 pts . I read a lot here about all the people that received high scores thanks to your help, so here am I - desperate! I don`t know where to start from, i have about 2 months to prepare.
My question is do you think I could get these points for only 2 months. Untill now i was learning mainly from the Official Guide for the GMAT 11th and 12th eddition. Here in my country this exam is not so popular so I am not quite sure wich are the best books for me. Thanks in advance

Hi jasmine90,

It's definitely possible to improve in GMAT towards 550 in the 2 months. You should get a copy of OG13 --most of the questions are the same, but there are some newer type questions you might want to see as well.

After you purchase the book, you may find our video solutions useful: https://www.gmatpill.com/official-guide

Make sure you keep identifying the kinds of mistakes you are making and that you learn from those mistakes. Constantly revisit questions that you got wrong and see if you are able to answer them correctly after having reviewed the solution. If you repeatedly make the same mistake - then you need to psychologically make a note in your mind how you will consciously change your way of thinking next time so you do not make the same mistake again.

In terms of resources - we recommend that you get guidance from someone who has done it before--either a friend or some kind of course. If you are open to learning online, we offer a great course online. In terms of study material, check out the Practice Pill Platform: https://www.gmatpill.com/gmat-practice-test/
