Hi Everyone,
A little bit of background about me:
GMAT Score: 730
Total Experience: 4.5 Yrs
Currently I am working as a Project Manager in Sydney, Australia and I am also acting as a CTO for another business.
Before this I was working in Manchester, UK as an Implementation Consultant (Junior Business Analyst) and before that I was in India in the same role.
Academics:
I did my undergrad from one of the NIT's in India and managed to score a GPA of 8.3 (barely !!).
Other Activities:
I have worked for few NFP (Not for Profit) organisations in Australia as well as Africa.
I am currently a member of AIBC and AIYD, these organisations are helping improve the relationship between Australia and India.
I do have a few accolades which I received during my degrees, however I do not feel they play a significant role in this process.
Thats mostly it, from my background prospective.
I am guilty of not following the posts and not reading what others have said. Hence, I am in a situation where I am not sure which college to go for.
I am looking for colleges in either of the following countries US, AUS, EU or the UK.
Any sort of suggestion will be much much appreciated.

Go to US News and look for schools in the ranking 15-40 (average GMAT of 680 or below).
Indian Applicant GMAT >= School Average GMAT + 50 points
For example if you want to apply to Harvard. Stanford and Wharton, you need a GMAT of 770-780.
Apply in Round 1 (A MUST for Indian applicants).This is against conventional wisdom where R1 and R2 are considered equal. Remember that this piece of advice is applicable for US/Europe Applicants not for Indian-Tech Applicants. There are far too many applicants with similar profile and limited spots. For example take a school which has 200 seats. It can fill a maximum of 20 students with Indian Engineering background. Now if they have already admitted 10-12 seats in Round 1, then you have to compete with wait listed and round 2 applicants for remaining 8 seats. Let's assume chances are equal, still why take a risk with your career
. This means you should start working on essays by May-June.

I have a different opinion. 730, to me, is a very solid score. I know several Indian tech guys/girls who have landed up in top 5, having scored less than that.
I'm not saying that you are a shoe in, but you have some good things going on for you. Check out the ask admission consultants forum for a profile evaluation. That should be helpful in selecting schools where you would want to apply.
