Hi,
I scored 590 (Q46, V25) on my first GMAT Prep exam on January. However, after some major studying efforts,
I scored 540 (Q39, V24) on my second GMAT Prep exam today. Is there any pattern/mistake that it can be identified? It is obvious that I spent a lot of time on the first 10 questions on both sections and then rushed towards the end of the exam, getting many questions wrong.
I received all 13 RC questions in the following order: 1-3, 7-9, 10-12, and 15-18.
Is this normal? Somehow, I did not expect to see all the RC questions in the beginning of the verbal section. Unfortunately, I spent a lot of time doing them.
I made a careless mistake on the 1st quant question. Do you think this hurt my overall quant score? Yesterday, I tried a GMAT Focus test and got a range of 46-50.
I think I have serious timing issues. Would you recommend doing the following?
1) Reset the GMAT Prep and take five practice exams in order to improve my timing (clearly, my score will be inflated), and after that
2) Buy the GMAT Prep Exam package to estimate my real GMAT ability.
I have my official exam in three weeks time. If you could help me on this, I would appreciate that.
Please see below two screen caps about the correct/incorrect questions from my second GMAT Prep exam today.
Thank you in advance.
