Penelope and George had a conversation for 100 minutes. Penelope spoke for 90% of the total time, and in the remaining time, George spoke. George, is a very calm & peace loving person, who does not believe in arguing unnecessarily. Penelope is a fun-loving talkative girl who is easy going but sometimes, leaves no stone unturned in pulling someone’s leg. George told Penelope that 90% of the total time she speaks, is completely unproductive & only remaining time is utilized as fruitful/productive time. George then concluded that only 19% of their (Penelope & George) total talk time is fruitful/productive. Penelope agreed to that and George felt happy that Penelope accepted her part of unproductive talks, for which, he gave a chocolate to Penelope.
Assuming nothing out of the scope of above argument, which of the following must be true?
A) George likes to give chocolates to people who agree with him.
B) Penelope argued with George & teased him to such an extent that he was compelled to give chocolate to her.
C) George argues with Penelope on her unproductive talks & hence, he too does some unproductive talks.
D) George speaks only fruitful/productive stuffs.

accn to me the right answer is option D.
because from the passage given,it is stated that of the 100mins 19% or 19mins is fruitful/productive talk to which both parties agree.now since penelope spoke 90% of the 100 mins (i.e 90 mins) and 90% of the total time she speaks is unproductive (i.e 90%90=81mins),so she speaks productively for only 9 mins (90-81=9mins). this means that of the 19 mins of productive talk only 9 mins are taken up by her,and the rest 10 mins or 10% is taken up by george.now since george speaks only for 10% of the time,this means his entire 10%is productive talk.
