Hi all,
I gave GMATPrep Exam 2 yesterday and got a 710 (Q50 and V36). I was not able to answer the last 4 questions (Q38, 39, 40, 41) in the Verbal section. Also, I did Qns 36, 37 in a hurry. Can someone please tell me what is the penalty for not answering the last 4-5 questions in a section ?
I need to improve on my speed. Any tips on how to do this ? Also, how much more preparation time will I need to improve my Verbal score in the actual exam. 3-4 weeks more ? Please advice.

The penalty for not answering a question is 3 percentile points of the raw section score. So if you had answered the last 4 questions in a hurry, you probably would have been better off than skipping them.
Had you done OK on them (and answered at least 2 correctly) my estimate of your score would be V40
