I'm going to differ here in my advice. While 690 is a great score and will probably serve you just fine, you should ask yourself how much you want to leave to chance. There isn't much you can change about your profile at this point, so the GMAT provides a great way to increase your chances of admission. You have a history of good performance on your practice exams and you know you underperformed on Verbal. A LOT of people take the GMAT multiple times and most improve their score. Why not give it another good last push and prepare for another month or two and see if you can improve your score (while working on applications)? If you don't get a better score, it's ok because you already have a solid score.

Just a thought...
