Hi cluelessMe,

Given your current work schedule and your GMAT goals, I would recommend that you give Economist GMAT Tutor a try. Because you're looking to benefit from a private tutor, you can schedule an online session with someone at a time that's convenient for you. It also can help you iron out the issues you're having with the Verbal section. To sign up for a free trial and to see if this works for you, you can sign up here: https://econgm.at/freetrialoffer.

Since you mentioned that RC is tripping you up, I'll address that section of the test. First, if you don't already do so, take notes They will come in handy, especially for those long passages. Also, you may want to look out for these items while reading the passage:

-the main idea of this passage
-the author's position and tone (neutral? critical? etc.)
-structure of the argument (e.g. two opposing sides vs. one sided, informational vs. author's opinion)

Doing this will allow you to understand the passage and quickly identify what the specific arguments may be-two key skills for the RC section.

Lastly--and you've probably heard this before--read publications such as The Economist, Financial Times, NY Times, etc. Read the op-ed sections, as the language level used in these sections are on par with the GMAT's RC section.

I hope this helps. Best of luck!
