I am unsure if this question should go under this section or if it should go under GMAT club forum at all, but nevertheless here it is - I am a paid member of
Manhattan GMAT training and after I received their online strategy guides I was taken aback. Those books are at least 4-5 years old. Now, I understand printing completely new editions of a book may not happen every year but 2011 ... really, c'mon!? While the topics of discussion may not change, I cannot really tell if their problem sets in drills vary from year to year (which I think they should). I was searching for an explanation of a concept (while working on a homework question) on this forum, and guess what, I found the exact question that I am working on, in a thread that is from 2011

. I don't know, at this point, if I should be happy that for all those tricky
MGMAT questions I have a different explanation on this site or if I should be bummed out that there is absolutely no change in the editions from 2011 and as a result I lost the edge of paying hundreds of dollars, when all I could spend is 100 dollars for used books from 2011. It is a different matter that I am also entitled to their other resources. But imo, drill sets are vital too. Please don't misunderstand that I am bickering about this, when I am merely trying to understand the industry norm if this is the same case with other GMAT preps like @VeritasPrep etc. If it is not, well let this case be a lesson learned and a point to consider for future
MGMAT students.
