Hi,
I am getting wierd results in Veritas practice tests. I got 710 (Q50, V38) day before, 760 (Q50, V44) yesterday and 720 (Q50, V39) today. Couple of weeks back in GMATprep official app I got 760 (Q50, V42). These are the only recent ones that I have given.
The inconsistency is spooking me, esp with my GMAT test three days from now. Whats surprising is that when I scored well in Verbal I got more questions wrong, than when I scored bad. I can understand that in latter case I may have screwed easier questions, and thus got worse score. But large part of wrong answers (esp at the beginning) were of moderate difficulty (35%-45% correct).
In such a scenario:
- Whats my valid Verbal score? How come there is so much inconsistency
- Any last minute tip that can improve my Verbal (with just three days left
) -additional info: I answer around 50% sentence correction wrongly.
Completely disheartened after today's test. Phew! Any help greatly appreciated.

First off, congratulations on that trend of 700+ scores and 50 quants! Impressive.
As far as variance, I wouldn't worry too much about it as any tests are going to have a standard deviation of at least 15-20 points or so, and other factors like the fatigue of taking tests three days in a row will also cause scores to fluctuate with a downward trend.
The key takeaways to me are:
-You're more than capable of scoring 750+ if you keep doing the things that you've been doing well, stay focused, manage your pacing, etc.
-You have two tests below that 750 goal to return to to look for the mistakes that you're making when you're not at your absolute peak, so you can give yourself a quick checklist of things to keep in mind to ensure that you don't fall victim to those mistakes on test day.
I see a lot of positives here - looks like you're well on your way to a monster score on the official exam!

able advice. Sadly I was disappointed with my Quant scores only 49-i guess we all screw up at times 740
