Hi,
I just got done with GMAT.
Score:
IR: 2
QA: 50
VA: 40
Overall: 750
I am planning to apply to HEC and ISB. How much problem will y IR score cause?
Also what are my chances of getting through.
Experience:
1 yr in TCS - Software development
1 yr in a start up - Business Development + Digital Marketing
For the past 4 months I have been freelancing on my own (Digital Marketing)
10th: 89.8%
12th: 84.4%
CGPA: 7.68
I just got done with GMAT.
Score:

Your GPA is slightly on the lower side but your superb GMAT score will make up for it. IR score will not come into the picture unless the adcoms are down to two applicants - you and another - who have very similar profiles and scores. Even then, it would be the last criteria that could hurt your application. I think your chances for ISB are pretty good. However, for HEC paris, the average work ex is 6 years so that could hurt your case a bit. In your application, you will have to come up with very strong reasons to explain why HEC is perfect you, what you can contribute to their class despite less work ex and why this time is perfect for you to pursue MBA.
Your work experience is quite unique. What are your post MBA goals? Tell me more about the leadership experiences you have had so far and extracurricular activities during and after college.

Thank you so much for your response.
In college I was involved in a number of clubs and fests always in the role of an organizer. I was also part of the student board. Even in school I was house captain.
Work Experience:
In TCS it was a relatively standard job but I was trying to change departments internally to pre-sales but I was offered a position in a start up. In the start up I was in charge of the digital marketing wing. My responsibilities included a variety of roles starting from business development to execution of the project. I had around 4 people in my team for project execution.
My future goal is to start up on my own. Keeping this in mine I decided to get a head start and start freelancing. I hoped building my own contacts before hand would help. I plan on continuing with a few of my client even while pursuing Masters.
