Hello,
I'm new to the forum (at least in terms of posting) and I hope that this isn't answered somewhere else. I did look, per the rules outlined.
As discussed countless times already, there is a severe penalty for not finishing. From what I've read, the penalty is also higher for higher up scores.
I'm going to retake the test because my math score was bad (I prepared wrong for one), but I'm going for a very good score now that I've got it down.
Question: How much of a penalty did I take for not answering 4 questions on the Verbal if I got 96th percentile? I've read that it's ~2-3 points per, and, as above stated, higher for upper scores.
I feel immodest saying this, but looking over scoring charts this would seem to indicate that my score was in the high 40's and maybe a 50. Is this the case?
The reason I ask is that, though I'm seeking to do my best on the quant section, if I completely nail the verbal like that I don't have to do *as* well to get a great score, which would be nice.
Your advice would be appreciated.
