Hi Econ123,
Is your 2.6 GPA an overall GPA or just for your Business Classes. How do your more recent grades compare to how you were performing earlier on (as a Freshman and Sophomore)? Grad School Admissions Officers are savvy enough to look beyond an overall number IF you give them a sufficient reason to. A strong GRE/GMAT score and well-written personal statements/essays would certainly help.
Do you have a specific list of Schools that you're interested in? If you do, then contacting the schools and asking some pointed questions would go a long way to help you put together a plan of attack. In that same way, you might try reaching out to Alums (be respectful and professional in all of this - you're asking for insight and advice). Finally, you might benefit from talking to (or working with) an Admissions Expert.
There are a lot of variables that affect this process - having a lower GPA won't automatically keep you out of School, but you'll have to "make up for it" in other ways.
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
