Work Experience -
more than 4.5 years in energy sector, power transmission field.
- 2.5 years with Siemens Ltd.
Last Designation- Executive Engineer
Design and engineering of HVDC power transmission Project.
Managed a team of 3, excluding me.
Project - India-Bangladesh 500 MW power transmission. (contract value of $193Million)
Involved in bidding of 2 power transmission project.
- 1 Year with Siemens Ag. (Erlangen, Germany)
Department - Tendering team
Designation - Elektroingenieur (Deutsch)
Responsibility-
Involved in bidding of two middle-east HVDC transmission projects.
Effective and economic design of 7 primary components, and coordination with their suppliers as well as the Client for both projects.
- 1 Year and continuing with Siddhartha Engineering Limited.
Designation - Project Manager
Project - Turnkey transmission project of contract value (430 Million)
Client - State power transmission corporation
Responsibility-
Completion of all erection and commissioning activities of the project.
Currently managing a team of 11 members to ensure quality work within the predefined timeline.
Monthly and weekly planning and giving targets to sub -contractors, site engineers and supervisors, commercial counterparts and transport department of our company.
Extra-curricular-
Associated with an NGO, in the field of Women Empowerment, for more than 8 years now.
Involved in 3 projects, encouraging tribal women for self sufficiency, spreading awareness and building unity among them.
Target Schools-
INSEAD, LBS, ISB, IMD, Carnegie Mellon, Mannheim, HEC Paris, SAID-OXFORD.

Hi there ,
Your profile looks very strong but you haven’t mentioned your career aspirations etc. HEC, Oxford and ISB will be very good options and moderate in terms of admission chances , Mannheim would be more of a Safety school looking at your profile. INSEAD, LBS would fall in the competitive category but looking at your profile you would have good chances provided you project a strong and coherent application. IMD I feel at this point of time would not be a perfect fit since the average age of the class is pretty high along with the average years of work experience.

I think that you'd be better off interacting with an Admissions Consultant. There's a whole Forum full of them on this site and they can likely provide some insights into your situation. You can find the Forum here:

With a 720/Q51, you've got a GMAT score that will make any Business School happy. You have to remember that Business Schools will nitpick your OVERALL application, so to get an invite, you have to be qualified AND you have to present yourself in the proper way.
