Hi koreafort,
You've given yourself plenty of time to study, which is good. Most Test Takers spend 3 months (or more) studying for the GMAT, so you're starting off with the proper timeframe.
It's important to set a 'baseline score' early on in your studies, so that you can get a sense of your strengths and weaknesses. So sometime soon, you should plan to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT test. A FULL CAT takes about 4 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to do so in one sitting. If you want to do a little studying first (so that you can familiarize yourself with the question types and basic content), then that would be fine. You'll probably find that first CAT to be challenging, and you might have pacing problems, but that's okay - everything can be improved over time.
Once you have your practice CAT scores, you should report back here.
