Hi everyone,
This question is for the GMAT experts from different prep companies (since they are in contact with several GMAT students on a regular basis):
Which is/are the most common CR question type(s) being tested these days on the GMAT? I know the trend is not a consistent one, but it would still be helpful to know which types are most frequently tested in order to focus the effort.

Hi getsunny,
I assume that you're asking because you're looking to 'focus' your Verbal studies a bit. To that end, can you answer a few questions about your studies so far:
1) How long have you been studying?
2) What resources have you been using?
3) How are you performing on SC and RC?
4) How have you been scoring on your practice CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
While CR questions can be categorized based on what you're asked for, many concepts are just "shades" of the same idea (Strengthen and Weaken questions, for example), so treating them as completely different concepts isn't necessarily the best way to go about organizing your studies. In this way, the same CR skills can be applied to multiple CR question types - you just need to learn the proper tactics/patterns to do so.
