Hey there,
I applied myself pretty diligently through the economist platform last fall (>3 months, 82% completion quant), eventually working my way from a 620 on initial testing to a 740 (real GMAT, 1st attempt). I was really happy with the result, but was dinged from my top choices last fall (2nd round application - GSB / HBS). I've decided to apply again 1st round, and am wondering if it is worth my time to try to improve my quant score (which may have hurt me), though it would require *significant* effort and may still be a crapshoot.
History of tests:
Quant Verbal
Economist 1 620 42 35
Economist 2 690 44 42
Economist 3 710 49 40
Economist 4 680 42 42
GMAT Prep 720 47 42
Actual GMAT 740 47 44
As you can see, I outperformed prior practice on the verbal, and got my second highest quant score. Quant was still 68th %tile though, and that has me worried w/ folks talking 80/80 rule. With 3 months to applications, is it realistic to attempt to bump up the quant here (my gut tells me I am unlikely to hit that verbal score again)?
Many thanks for your thoughts!
