Hello everybody. I decided to take GMAT test. I have 4.5 month to prepare. I want to get highest score possible for that time interval. Can you help me to choose best books, taking into account time that I have to prepare for GMAT. I really hope to get such score that will give me a chance to get some grant or scholarship in Canada. I know that there are some good books such as:
The Official Guide for GMAT Review,
Kaplan GMAT Premier 2016,
Manhattan GMAT Complete Strategy Set,
Veritas Prep GMAT Series Complete GMAT Course Set
However, I do not know which of them will be better for me. I haven’t much time. I have bachelor degree and now I want to go to some business school. Can you help me? Some books have weak points, some have benefits. Some sets have many books in it. Some books have huge amount of pages. I just don’t know what book to buy. Can you give me some direction?

It sounds like you're just starting out. Is that true? Have you done any studying so far?
If you're just beginning, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can download 2 for free from www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). A FULL CAT takes about 4 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan. If you want to do a bit of studying to familiarize yourself with the question types and general concepts, then that's fine, but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT.
With 4.5 months, you've given yourself plenty of time to study, which is good.
I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:
1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School?

The Official Guide is a must - no two ways about it. Here is my suggestion to you:
1. Buy the official guide right away and take the diagnostic given in it (right at the beginning). It will give you a good idea of where you stand.
2. If you get a very high score (which is quite rare, I might point out here), you may not even need a full set of books. Start working on the OG and wherever you face problems, check out those concepts from your high school books or online.
3. If you do see a fair number of gaps, get a full set of books. The curriculum discusses not only fundamentals but also advanced applications and various strategies and techniques. As you mentioned, there are many options available to you. Which is the best for you depends on how you like to study. Every test prep company offers you some kind of trial of their material. For example, we at Veritas allow free access to our SC lecture, one full length practice test and our DS book. You should check out the various trial offers and decide which curriculum suits you the best.

4. Make a study plan for yourself in which you devote the first two months to fundamentals and advanced applications and last two months to practice and full length tests. Once you start taking the tests, you will be able to identify the areas in which you are weak - review those areas again till you get comfortable with them.
By the end of it all, you should be ready for the test.
