Hey guys,
I am in the final leg of my GMAT prep, and have scheduled the exam on October 9. I should finish the entire OG 2016 in a about 4-5 days,and in the same timeframe should also finish the questions in Magoosh which were also of a pretty good quality. I have realised there is indeed no match for the official material in terms of the concepts tested. With all due respect to the challenging questions set by other prep companies(especially the fantastically complex ones from MGMAT quant), I want to focus on basics,review my mistakes and solve official questions in my final tune up. Thus, I need to decide between solving both the OG Quant and Verbal review(2nd edition),which I already possess; or go ahead and buy the $30 GMATPrep Question Pack which includes 400+ questions. I think it would be a stretch to complete all 3 in the time left and properly analyse my mistakes, so need advice on what to do. Further, I still have both my free GMATPrep exams left, which I will surely give in the final two weeks before my test date. A very important query here is whether the 400+ questions included in the GMATPrep Question Pack include questions which I would be likely to see on the 2 tests I plan on giving. I don't want to inflate my scores by virtue of seeing repeat questions! Experts,please help!

Hi Shrikunj,
That is a lot of work on your plate. It is good to stick to the official questions in the final leg of the preparation.
I had a few questions though:
1. When is your GMAT. You said you will appear for the CATs in last two weeks, so I am assuming you do not have your GMAT anytime soon
2. Why do you want to complete OG in 4-5 days.
3. Have you prepared an error log in your preparation?

Here is my advice:
Take one prep test right away - a practice test taken in the final week has no real value since you have no time to work on your weaknesses. It will just be a practice run for your time management skills. In another week, you should take the second practice test too. The two tests will give you enough to work on for 10 days. If you do want some more questions of a particular topic, check out the review guides that you have. With less than 2 weeks to go and both official tests pending, I don't think you have the time to check out any other resource.
