Hi renguard,

Looking at your scores (V23 Q42), it seems that you lacking the core skills needed to ace the GMAT (both in verbal and quant).

I feel that even through you have gone through the books, you haven’t been able to learn and assimilate the concepts and their application properly. I would say going through the books again doesn’t seem a very good idea at this stage. I am saying this because if that way of learning were to work for you, you would have grasped the concepts and their application well in the first go itself and it would have reflected in your mocks.

Books can teach you the concepts but do a very poor job of teaching you the application. I would like you to view some of the files from the links below
1. Verb-ed and Verb-ing Modifiers https://goo.gl/QLt3j6
2. Like vs. As https://goo.gl/UMRFzP
3. Various Functions of 'As' https://goo.gl/iLOvhl

We have 100+ such beautifully designed audio visual files in our course. To view more such content, just log in to your Free Trial https://e-gmat.com/login/. We believe that you learn the best when we engage your ability to read, your audio cortex, as well as your visual cortex. This enhances the student learning by almost 3X-4X times as compared to books.

Also, if you are using our course for your preparation, you won’t require any other resource other than the Official Guide. We offer the most comprehensive courses.

Lastly, do have a look at Anuj’s interview https://goo.gl/oytYt2 and understand how he was able to score a 770 (V44–98 percentile) using the e-GMAT course (he also explains how he aced SC during the interview).

Do let me know in case you have any further queries. I’ll be happy to help you.

Regards,

Rajat Sadana
