HI,

I got 730 in gmat first attempt. Currently I have 16 months of experience as a software engineer. B.Tech(IT) from NIT with 7.9/10 grad. Some extra curricular during college nothing after that. What are my chances of admission and scholarship for full time MBA at following schools:

Wish list:
1. Fuqua School of Business
2. Rotman School of Management
3. Ivey Business School
4. New York University (Stern)
5. UC Berkeley (Haas)
6. UCLA (Anderson)
7. Brigham Young (Marriott)

Hi Rajat

First off, a 730/Q50 is an outstanding score (it's well above the 90th percentile overall), so you should apply to any Business Schools that interest you. You're ultimately asking Admissions questions though, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of them here:

I have 4 point in IR . and also only 16 months of experience. will there two effect my chances?

Hi Rajat

I'm not an Admissions Expert, nor am I an Expert in any of the Schools that you've listed. Many Schools have publicly stated that they do not factor in an Applicant's IR score during the admissions process, so you likely have nothing to worry about there. 16 months of work experience is on the 'lighter' side though - Schools tend to want 2-5 (or 3-5) years of experience. There are always exceptions, of course - especially if your work experience is suitably interesting/special.
