What are the job opportunities in Canada after MBA?

You ask a rather broad question, so you'll have to consider the details of what you're asking about:

1) What type of MBA are you considering?
2) What School/Program is that MBA going to be from?
3) What field/company do you want to work in/for?
4) What type of Alumni base/connections will the School be able to provide you?
Etc.

Thankfully, all of these questions can be researched, but you really should think about what YOU want your MBA to do for you. In that way, you can choose the 'right' Degree and School for the career path that you want to be on.

Thanks for the reply.

I am looking for either the full time course or Executive MBA in HR or marketing, Considering that I have an experience of 3+ years. And, by the time I will join any B school, it will be 4+ years.

Currently, I am working for an IT firm as a Senior Software Engineer. I have done by B.Tech in Computer Science.

I am sorry, I did not understand the last question "What type of Alumni base/connections will the School be able to provide you". Can you please elaborate on this

Hi ruhanichawla,

Since you've defined the type of Degree that you're interested in, you should be able to better research the specific Programs that 'fit' your particular needs. With a bit of investigation, you should be able to get a better sense of what job options might be available once you have that degree.

Certain Schools are 'feeder Programs' into specific companies or industries - so when you ask about job opportunities, one of the things to consider is if the Program you're looking at provides that connection to a particular industry. Will the School be able to directly set you up with job prospects? Will stating that you have a Degree from School X automatically open up some career paths that might have otherwise been difficult to gain access to? These are important factors for your long-term planning.
