My name is Priya. The below is my profile:
10th Standard - 94%
12th Standard - 92%
UG - B.E Printing Technology - 80%
PG - Post graduation Diploma in Packaging Tech - 86% (Gold medalist)
Work experience - 4.5 yrs in manufacturing industry
I gave GMAT in 2014 and scored only 590. So i didn't apply anywhere. Now again am planning to give GMAT in 2016. Being in a manufacturing industry, my work load is very high and I hardly get time to prepare for GMAT and also i work for 6 days in a week. So, I am planning to resign my job and prepare for GMAT.
Is it ok if I resign my job ? Will it have any impact on my application ? Please guide.

No, it is not ok to resign. GMAT prep can easily be done by investing 2-3 hours everyday. That is how most people manage it. It will be very hard to convince the adcom that you actually needed to quit to prepare. I don't advice my students to quit. If it is possible for you to take a break of a month, you can do that. Put in a good amount of study in that month and then continue practicing for another month or two. You should get a good score.
Nowadays most resources are available online. So you can access all books, lesson videos and practice questions on your phone/iPad etc from anywhere. That way, you can make good use of any free time you get during the day. Also, whenever you are free for 10 mins, you can check out a blog post or two.
