Hi NiteshRC,

If you really have not taken any FULL-LENGTH CATs during your 4 months of study, then we have no idea whether you should be focused on RC right now (or if you should be focused on something else). As such, you really MUST take a FULL CAT (with the Essay and IR sections) sometime soon. That score result will give us a much better idea of your current skills, strengths and weaknesses. Once you have that score result, you should post back here and we can talk through your Study Plans.

Going forwards, you should plan to take FULL CATs on a regular basis (1 CAT every 1-2 weeks).

Hi TIMEBBA,

You're asking a rather specific question, but it's not perfectly clear if either of those options is actually what you 'need' right now. As such, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?

4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?

Hi TIMEBBA,

Since you've been studying for a month, it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can download 2 for free from www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). It's also important to take CATs at regular intervals throughout your studies. That first score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 4 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can talk through the rest of your study plan.
