Hi nechaef,

If you're not planning to apply to Business School until Round 1 this year, then you still have plenty of time to study and improve your GMAT score.

1) How were you scoring on your practice CATs before you scored 630 on the Official GMAT?

You are welcome!
Since you are planning o apply to the B-Schools this September, you may run out of time while writing the applications.
Make sure you sit for the GMAT maximum by June. This would allow you to retake the GMAT should the need arises.

Also, I would recommend you to buy the exam pack 1 and question pack 1 from mba.com
You should also solve the questions from the official guide and the verbal review and make an error log for all your mistakes.

Hi nechaef,

Taking just 2 CATs, and doing so in the final week before your Official GMAT, were both bad choices. Taking FULL-LENGTH CATs (with the Essay and IR sections) at regular intervals is an essential part of the study process. As you continue to study, you should plan to take 1 FULL CAT every 1-2 weeks and make sure that you've set aside enough time to review each CAT in detail. In the final week leading up to the GMAT, you should NOT be taking any CATs (by doing so, you're far more likely to 'burn out' before Test Day).
