Hi Ashesh,

These two practice scores are not as far apart as they might appear. GMAC has publicly stated that the Official Score that you earn on Test Day is within +-30 points of actual ability. As such, your two Official GMAT scores are essentially the 'same' score - meaning that you treated both Exams in the same general ways. Given this likely pattern, "your way" of dealing with the GMAT will probably earn you another score in the mid-600s if you continue to study in the same ways as before. To raise your score to the 700+ level, you'll likely need to invest in some new resources and learn/practice some new Tactics. Thankfully, you're relatively close to that level right now, so you could potentially hit that score in 1-2 months (and you would not necessarily have to wait until June or July to retest).

1) How many hours can you study during a typical week?
2) When are you planning to apply to Business School?

I can study from 14-20 hours a week. And I am planning to apply to Business schools starting from Aug-Sep 2016.

1. I followed the following materials:
- Magoosh GMAT Prep
- Sentence Correction Nirvana
- OG Quant
2. I don't remember my interim mock scores.
3. I solved the OG verbal and quant books, but OG only around 50-60%.

Hi Ashesh,

Since it sounds like you're planning to apply for the Round 1 deadlines, you have plenty of time to continue studying and improve. To reiterate, you could probably be ready in 1-2 months, so it's just a matter of working with the proper resources and learning/practicing the proper Tactics. Based on everything that you’ve described, I think that you would find the EMPOWERgmat Total Score Booster to be quite helpful. Most of our clients complete that Study Plan in well under 2 months, so the time commitment wouldn't be that bad. We have a variety of free resources on our site (www.empowergmat.com), so you can 'test out' the Course before setting up an Account.

If you have any additional questions, then you can feel free to contact me directly.

I see that you have already followed a preparatory course, so I would not suggest you to look into our score guarantee course. (Although you can have a free trial of the course if you wish and see if the course suits your needs.)
Instead what i would suggest is to go back to the course that you have and revisit the concepts. Post that, try to solve all the remaining Official problems and also buy the Exam Pack 1 and 2 along with the Question pack 1.
If you are stuck at a particular score, the best way is to invest time in the official problems. No matter how many times you have solved them. You should master the problems to such an extent that you can explain all the options of problem to anyone.

Again, I would reiterate to drill down deep into the question and the topics that trouble you and the plan your practice by keeping them in mind.
