Hi Ravi Singhal,
Have you taken any FULL LENGTH CATs yet (with the Essay and IR sections)? If you have, then how have you scored (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
The AWA prompt that you'll see on Test Day will follow a common design 'pattern', so you can follow an essay 'template' and complete the AWA without too much difficulty. Many Business Schools have stated that they do not use an applicant's IR score as part of the application review process, so you likely don't have much to worry about there. However, you might want to research the specific Schools/Programs that you're interested in, so that you can confirm whether or not that view of the IR section is the case. IR actually has a lot in common with Verbal CR, although the prompts are wordier and you sometimes have to deal with charts/graphs/tables. Many Test Takers have a pacing issue when dealing with IR and can sometimes feel overwhelmed with having to do so much work in such a short period of time. Thus, you have to be comfortable with the idea that you might have to quickly guess on some IR prompts to finish that section on time.
