HI,
Background: I am a film undergraduate (B.A in Media studies) from India aspiring to be a film director someday. Although I didn't land any film opportunities yet, Ive been working on other small projects such as ads, corporate videos as a freelancer for the past 2 years and as a sound engineer in a studio for 3 years before that. Since I have realized that I am not moving forward, I want to pursue MBA so that I get a chance to work for Big Studio/Production House or shift career till I earn enough to fund my dream.
I have been an average student:
Under graduation percentage : 71% overall
GMAT : 530
Unfortunately I cannot retake GMAT
QUESTION : 1) Almost all programs require 3+ GPA. Does 71% in India fall in that range??
2) Most of the colleges which consider 500-600 range also require about 5 years of managerial experience. I don't have any managerial experience and since I worked as a freelancer for the last 2 years most of my contributions are uncredited. What are the chances that they'd even consider me for admission?
3) Kindly suggest me a few colleges that may consider my application.
4) Also, any advice from your side to help me get into a descent college will be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, I don't think that anyone here can recommend a Business School/Program to you. There are a variety of factors that you have to consider when applying to Business School, and until you define exactly what you're looking for it will be difficult to define which School(s) match.
