If we go by the scale then a score of 8 puts you in 90th percentile so could it mean that out of 12 questions the candidate probably answered 10 - 12 questions all correct, this might give an idea of the strike rate to be concerned about in order to get a score of 4 to 5 as suggested by many experts. Though I know it is a bell curve and the sample space is variant dependent on the candidate pool however an opinion about the normalized mean and the standard deviations in the score from the experts would be useful immensely for predicting an individual's score range.
