Hey guys,
This is my first post on the GMAT Club. The website has been so helpful so far so thank you all very much.
I took the GMAT today and did not score as well as I hoped. I rushed through the IR and quantitative section and randomly selected the last couple questions. I am very disappointed in myself.
I scored a 610 , Q42 and V32. I will retake the exam.
Can you please suggest what I should specifically do to take my score to 700 and above range?

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
Goals:
4) When are you planning to retake the GMAT?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

The best way to improve your current score is to drill down deep in each question type:
SC: The questions test various concepts such as S-V agreement, modifiers, parallelism etc. Find out what troubles you.
CR: There might be certain types of questions that are troubling you. May be Assumption, may be conclusion, inference etc.
You need to find that out and then practice them
RC: This again can be drilled down into different types of questions and also different topics. See what questions and topics trouble you the most and then practice accordingly.
Quants: Again try to break the questions in topics such as Algebra, Number system (very important), Geometry, PnC etc.
As an addition, start preparing an error log and keep a note of all the mistakes you made and the lessons you learnt from the problems. This will ensure you do not make the same mistake again
