Hi guys.
I passed my last days on free materials of GMAT around and questions here and there, just to familiarise with the test and do my first attempt on the GMAT simulation.
What came out?
550 (47Q 20V)
IR result was 4
Now going to the point I am thinking about buying:
- Advance Quant MGMAT (I love QUANT, I played maths games at national level when I was in High School and it has always been a sort of passion so I would love to reach 50 or 51 and it won't be that painful for me, after a day on curricular books, pass to advance quant :D
- Geometry MGMAT (Unfortunately geometry has always been my week point, laziness to study formula and so on. On the CAT I made wrong every Quant question on Geometry so if I want a high point in this section I need to improve it)
- Verbal foundation MGMAT (Clearly it's my weakest point, not being native. For sure I can improve it)
So I will put my ass on them and start working hard.
My exam date should be in the first part of October, in order to apply to early deadlines in November.
I want and need for sure a score >650, I have strong GPA so it could be enough, but something like 700/750 would be of course welcome :D do you think it is something i can do in 3 months and some days? Consider I am studying for lasts exams of my bachelor so it would be almost impossible to give gmat more than 2 hours per day, at least till September.

You need to build the concepts/fundamentals before you jump in solving the problems. You can do so by choosing one of the following ways:
1. In person classes/private tutoring
2. Online classes
3. Self paced online preparatory course
4. Book heavy approach
Whatever you choose, make sure that you choose one. Because GMAT tests you on some concepts and fundamentals that you can learn from a course. Most of the preparatory companies including ours offer a free trial of our course. You can take the trial and see if the course suits your needs.
In addition to the preparatory material, buy the Official Guides(both the Official Guide and the Verbal Review), Question Pack 1 and the 4 official mock CATs. They should be an indispensable part of your preparation.
You need close to 3 months to prepare well for the GMAT.
1. Understand the concepts and fundamentals before jumping into problem solving
2. Solve full length CATs including AWA and IR. You can get two free GMAT Prep mock CATs and can purchase two more from mba.com
3. Make sure you solve the official questions from the Official Guide
