GMAT Club Forum mobile appa: A's age, b: B's age
two years later B's age: b+2
one third what your age will be 2 years later: 1/3 (b+2)
difference: a - 1/3(b+2)
B's age when A was one third of what your age will be 2 years laer: b - ( a - 1/3(b+2) )
Thus we have a = 4 ( b - ( a - 1/3(b+2) ) )
a = 4b - 4a + 4/3 ( b + 2 )
15*a = 16*b + 9
a = 24, b = 22
