Hi RahulDobriyal,

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on EACH of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi Rich,

I have studied for almost 1.5 months now but started CR 20 days back...

I am using Veritas and Princeton materials.

I have given 2 tests... 610 (46Q 28V) and 650(46Q 34V)

I want to get 750 by april end. ~3 months left

Then i will think about colleges later... One thing at a time as i have time... I can wait a bit...

Thanks and please let me know if i missed anything

Hi Everyone,

I take too much time in CR questions and when i find this problem happening in my mocks, i usually mark the wrong answer in haste.

my tutor told me to do questions from OG for practice to solve this problem.

Would it be wise to spend OG questions early in my preparation?

Please let me know if i can improve by any other way.

I don't think one "spends" OG questions by doing them. Once you understand the various types of questions, you need to do lots of practice questions including OG questions. You "learn" from them.
You didnt get my point... Spending questions meant it is the only source for good questions... Anyway, thanks

Thanks and please let me know if i missed anything

Hi RahulDobriyal,

Many Test Takers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores; since you've been studying for just 1.5 months, you shouldn't expect to have mastered any part of this process just yet. By extension, there's a reasonable chance that you'll naturally improve as you continue to study and become more familiar with the concepts, patterns and Tactics involved in the GMAT. Since you're already working with some study materials, I suggest that you continue studying as you have been and take new FULL-LENGTH CATs (with the Essay and IR sections) at regular intervals to track your progress. You shouldn't be concerned about using OG materials too 'early'; there are plenty of quality practice materials on the market.

Rahul, whenever you do them, you will learn from them. You should jot down the takeaways and ensure you don't repeat mistakes. We at Veritas model our questions on official questions so you have enough "non official but much like the real ones" questions - no worries!
