Hi I scored a 650 Q47, V33 on my recent GMAT attempt. I was planning on applying to the final round at some schools but I might actually delay a year and improve my profile. One of the things I could improve is my GMAT. I was wondering which steps I would take to improve to around a 700. Seeing a 700 score would be ideal though. I definitely think that I could improve my Verbal a bit but I'm not too confident about my potential to improve the Quant score. 47 was pretty good for me considering my practice scores. I used Manhattan, Kaplan 800 (only Quant), all the GMAT PREP CATs and OG material to study last time. I'm pretty sure I used all the Qs from the 2018 guide.
If I go this route I would like to sit for it again sometime in August/September so I would have ample time to do the applications. I would also ideally like to get back into the studying sometime late June. Considering that I would leave 2 months for study, what approach would any of you recommend? I would like to get a 40 in Verbal while maintaining my Quant score of 47. This should be good enough for a score in the 700-710 range.
I'm thinking that It would be a no brainer to do all the OG Verbal questions + the Kaplan 800 and
MGMAT Verbal Qs. My two concerns are: how am I going to maintain my Quant score?
How will I keep getting accurate score estimates if I've already exhausted all the GMAT prep Cats? I could always reset them but odds are I will remember some questions/answers.
Thanks
