The answer to your question is NO.
GMAT test is same all over the world. The questions pool you will see at a particular moment would be more or less same for another person sitting at the opposite end of the world. Same goes for Quant. If non natives have the advantage of good quant skills then natives have the advantage of great verbal skills. If your tutor's point would have been valid, then natives would have always been the very high scorers but that is not true.
If you mean questions that we have in
GMATClub tests, then again the answer is NO. Infact, the questions you will see here are a bit harder than the actual exam. And this is in your favor only. When you learn harder questions, you get to understand the twists in the questions that GMAT usually tests.
